چکیده
Bees are the most important pollinators of agricultural plants. The decline bee colonies is caused by a multitude factors which diseases, pesticides, and climate change seem to be important. Losses can huge when several act together. In recent years, there has been growing interest in use alternative sources such as medicinal plants form extracts or essential oils. purpose our research was evaluate economic efficiency oils basil (Ocimum basilicum), cinnamon (Cinnamomum veruum), clove (Syzgium aromaticum), juniper (Juniperus communis L.), oregano (Oreganum vulgare), mint (Mentha piperita), rosemary (Rosmarius officinalis), thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) additional feeding spring. Ninety Apis mellifera bees were used, additionally fed with sugar syrup one Our results showed strong positive correlations between total number germs gut worker brood cells using oil vulgare) (R2 = 0.786) 0.729), yield honey obtained at first harvest case basilicum) 1), piperita) 0.718), 0.621), Thyme L) 0.859). best profit from sale mint, oregano, thyme, basil, range EUR 139.16–144.73/bee colony.

Applications of Essential Oils in Food Preservation
Many food products are perishable by nature and require protection from spoilage during their preparation, storage and distribution to give them desired shelf-life. Because food products are now often sold in areas of the world far distant from their production sites, the need for extended safe shelf-life for these products has also expanded. Currently, there is a strong debate about the safety...

Results of Doxycycline Administration on Bee Colonies
The aim of the study was to estimate the impact of antibiotic doxycycline on the spring development of the bee colonies, worker bees’ bodies chemical composition, development of hypopharyngeal glands and some physicochemical parameters of honey. The experiment was conducted during the spring stimulating feeding at apiary of Research Center of Stockbreeding and Agriculture, Smolyan, Bulgaria. Tw...
متن کاملModelling Food and Population Dynamics in Honey Bee Colonies
Honey bees (Apis mellifera) are increasingly in demand as pollinators for various key agricultural food crops, but globally honey bee populations are in decline, and honey bee colony failure rates have increased. This scenario highlights a need to understand the conditions in which colonies flourish and in which colonies fail. To aid this investigation we present a compartment model of bee popu...
